Fat One’s Hot Dogs & Italian Ice is set to open at Universal CityWalk on Saturday, September 19. The restaurant comes from *NSYNC member Joey Fatone and his manager, Joe Mulvihill.
The menu includes nine gourmet hot dogs, Italian ices and specialty beers. Among the hot dogs are the footlong Fat One, topped with roasted pork, pepperoni, chili beans and cheddar cheese sauce, and the Dirty K-Pop Dog with kimchi slaw, gochujang mayo and crispy onions.
Fatone and Mulvihill plan to greet guests on opening day. The first 100 guests will receive a wristband for one free hot dog served by Fatone. Universal encourages anyone hoping to take part to arrive at Fat One’s at 10 a.m. Space is limited and available first come, first served. Fatone is also expected to stay for photos for a limited time.
CityWalk has another celebration that afternoon: The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen marks its 10th anniversary from 3 to 6 p.m. A special anniversary milkshake will be available to purchase.
