Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has built a new Halloween confection around Spiral Hill from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and the pastry team spent more than 800 hours putting it together.
Jack Skellington and Sally stand together at the top of the curl, with Zero nearby. Oogie Boogie and the Mayor appear across the lower section of the display, surrounded by pumpkins and graveyard details.
What went into the Spiral Hill confection
The build used 175 pounds of chocolate, 150 pounds of powdered sugar, 140 pounds of fondant, 105 pounds of rice cereal and 38 pounds of marshmallows.
