An official Schinkennudeln recipe is bringing one of EPCOT’s returning festival dishes into home kitchens. The pasta gratin, made with cheese, ham and onions at the park, is on the Germany Marketplace menu for the 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
The home recipe makes eight to 10 servings with elbow macaroni, heavy cream, eggs, Swiss cheese, white cheddar, salt, white pepper and nutmeg. Two cups of diced ham are optional in this version.
After the macaroni and cream mixture goes into a baking dish, it bakes covered for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. A final layer of cheese goes on top for another 15 minutes, followed by a 10-minute rest before serving.
Schinkennudeln is also part of Emile’s Fromage Montage. Guests collect five stamps by buying featured cheese dishes, then redeem the completed festival passport for a treat at Shimmering Sips.
The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival runs from August 27 through November 21, 2026. Menu items remain subject to change.
