More than 70 experiences have opened or been refreshed across Walt Disney World since the resort’s 50th anniversary in 2021.
The tally arrived as Walt Disney World marked its 55th anniversary on October 1. The five-year total comes to nearly a theme park’s worth of work.
That count reaches well beyond rides. The anniversary rundown includes nighttime entertainment, dining, hotel room refreshes and new or updated attractions across the resort.
Recent examples include TRON Lightcycle / Run, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Disney Starlight, The Beak and Barrel and more than 18,000 refreshed rooms across 10 resort hotels.
