Lagoon Amusement Park has named its next roller coaster J3 Grand Prix and says the ride is coming in July 2027.
The Utah park revealed the name Saturday in a video filmed at Lagoon. The Reel moves from the onstage announcement into a rendered point-of-view look at the coaster.

J3 Grand Prix ride details
ABC4 identified J3 Grand Prix as the first Intamin Hot Racer in the United States. The station reported 1,746 feet of track, 13 airtime moments, three inversions and a maximum speed of 40 mph.
Lagoon special-events director Julie Freed told ABC4 the coaster will be unlike anything else at the park.
Lagoon has announced only a July 2027 arrival window. An exact opening day has not been released.
