Imagineering Confirms Eight Letters in Disneyland S.E.A. Thief Mystery

The October 6 checkpoint expands Disney’s official clue list from three letters to eight: T, L, A, R, O, E, E and Z.

Walt Disney Imagineering has confirmed eight letters collected in its continuing Disneyland S.E.A. riddle series, up from the three-letter checkpoint Disney published in September.

The riddles are part of a mystery about a stolen Society of Explorers and Adventurers artifact. Each answer produces one scrambled letter in the thief’s name. The complete set will reveal a new S.E.A. character.

Spoiler warning: The next paragraph contains all eight letters confirmed through October 6.

The official list is T, L, A, R, O, E, E and Z. The earlier public recap contained only T, L and A, so the new checkpoint adds five confirmed letters for anyone trying to identify the thief.

The puzzle is still open. Bonnie Booker, the fictional S.E.A. archivist guiding the hunt, calls the post a compilation of the letters and information discovered so far and signs off “Until our next chapter.” Imagineering does not identify the thief in the recap.
