Anaheim police responded Monday night after a suspicious device was reported near the Disneyland Resort Esplanade.
Sleeping Beauty Castle appears in the hero photo. The image does not show Monday night’s police response.
NBC Los Angeles, citing the Anaheim Police Department, placed the device just outside the parks near the Esplanade shuttle drop-off area by Harbor Boulevard. Police did not release details about the device.
The Esplanade is the shared entrance plaza between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. The Disney Scoop separately quoted Anaheim Police Sgt. Eric Andersen, who said officers closed the Esplanade and Harbor-East Shuttle Area and directed guests toward Downtown Disney exits as a precaution.
