Epic Games delayed an upcoming video-game collaboration with Disney, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing people familiar with the project. No new release date has been communicated.
Bloomberg also reported that developers were told to use more artificial intelligence tools to finish the game.
Disney and Epic Games announced their broader collaboration in February 2024. The plan called for an open games and entertainment universe connected to Fortnite, backed by a $1.5 billion Disney investment in Epic Games.
