Disneyland Resort Character and Parade cast members will rally for a first union contract from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, October 17. The public event is set for the northwest corner of Harbor Boulevard and West Katella Avenue in Anaheim, outside the parks.
Actors’ Equity Association is organizing the rally for the Magic United bargaining unit. The union says contract talks began in October 2024.
Disneyland contract talks continue later this month
Disneyland Resort says it has participated in more than 50 days of negotiations with Actors’ Equity and that the next bargaining sessions are scheduled for October 27 and 28.
The bargaining unit covers about 1,700 cast members who perform as characters, dance in parades or work as hosts, leads and trainers. They voted to join Actors’ Equity in May 2024.
