Anaheim has issued a building permit for a seven-level, 3,115,680-square-foot Disneyland East parking garage with 316 electric vehicle chargers. The permit covers new construction at 1585 S. Manchester Ave.
Permit BLD2025-06431 also calls for 18 canopies covering a combined 13,945 square feet and 129 light poles at roof level. Its scope includes limited mechanical, electrical and plumbing work.
Disney’s 2025 artist concept, shown above, depicts the planned transportation hub and Harbor Boulevard pedestrian bridge. The garage is part of Disneyland’s eastside parking and transportation project on a portion of the Manchester cast member lot. Disney has said the larger project will include approximately 6,000 parking spaces, shuttle and rideshare areas, security screening, access from Disney Way and a pedestrian bridge over Harbor Boulevard.
The permit does not give an opening date for the garage. Disneyland broke ground on the parking and transportation project in August.
