Alfonso Gómez-Rejón will direct the first two episodes of Disney+’s Afterlife with Archie and executive-produce both, according to Deadline.
Gómez-Rejón is directing the pilot and the second episode. His credits include Me and Earl and the Dying Girl and the Amazon series Hunters.
The assignment gives the series one director across its opening two episodes. Deadline first reported the news Monday.
