A new official reel shows Minnie Mouse dancing with Disney Dreamers during the October 1 kickoff at the Walt Disney World Clubhouse in Orlando.
The 48-second video moves through the celebration, including Mickey Mouse greeting the group and participants wearing blue Disney Dreamers Academy shirts. Disney posted the reel October 19; the clubhouse kickoff took place October 1.
Disney said 50 Orlando-area students attended the first celebration. The year-round, multi-year pilot includes 200 middle school Boys & Girls Clubs members across Orlando, Miami, Atlanta and Houston, with virtual and in-person experiences in their communities and at Disney. Participants will also visit Walt Disney World.
