NBC Sports Grill & Brew will hold an NBA Tip-Off celebration Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Universal CityWalk Orlando.
The four-hour event will feature a live DJ and referee-themed stilt walkers. Universal has not announced a cover charge, reservation policy or special-event price.
Three basketball-themed dishes will stay on the menu through the NBA season:
- Onion Hoop: a hand-battered, fried onion appetizer.
- Slam Dunk Chicken Bacon Ranch Sammie: grilled chicken, ranch seasoning, bacon, tomatoes, red bell peppers, onions, jalapeño queso and provolone on a pretzel hoagie roll.
- PB & Jammm: a cake doughnut with serrano-strawberry jam, peanut butter ice cream, powdered sugar, peanut brittle and lemon zest.
The DJ and stilt-walker appearances are scheduled only for the Oct. 20 Tip-Off event. Universal has not listed an end date for the seasonal dishes.
