Universal’s global theme parks business reported $2.597 billion in revenue for the third quarter of 2026, down 4.4% from the same period last year.

Comcast released the results Thursday for the three months ended September 30. Theme park adjusted EBITDA fell 17.1% to $780 million.

Admissions revenue and expenses moved in opposite directions

Comcast said theme park revenue declined mainly because admissions revenue was lower, including the effect of increased promotional activity. The company did not report a percentage change in attendance.

Operating expenses rose 2.3% to $1.817 billion. Comcast attributed that increase mainly to operating costs at its domestic parks, partly offset by lower costs at its international parks.

In the third quarter of 2025, the segment reported $2.717 billion in revenue, $940 million in adjusted EBITDA and $1.777 billion in operating expenses.
