Disney Dreamers Academy welcomed 50 Atlanta students during an October 22 celebration at the John H. Harland Boys & Girls Club.
The Atlanta gathering was the third of four city visits for the newest class. Students met Disney characters, posed with a Tree of Life backdrop and danced with Goofy.
Orlando and Miami hosted the first two celebrations. Houston is the remaining stop, though an event date has not been announced.
How the new pilot works
The year-round, multi-year pilot includes 200 middle-school students from Orlando, Miami, Atlanta and Houston. It combines virtual and in-person sessions focused on skill building, career exploration and mentorship.
