Dutchman’s Deck, a nearly 55-foot-tall play structure inspired by SpongeBob SquarePants’ Flying Dutchman, will open at Nickelodeon Universe in March 2027.
The attraction will rise above the indoor theme park at Mall of America with five towers, seven bridges and two slides. Its layered course also includes tunnels, climbing and swinging elements, interactive games, musical features and a crow’s nest.
Four birthday rooms will sit inside the attraction
Dutchman’s Deck will also house four Nickelodeon-themed birthday party rooms. Lighting and underwater effects will carry the ghost-ship theme across the structure.
Mall of America says the attraction will be part of Nickelodeon Universe’s wristband experience. Admission using points will begin at six points.
