Astro Assemble has rolled out nationally to UK schools as a free interactive space-science resource for Key Stage 2 and 3 students.
The Royal Observatory Greenwich developed the classroom activity with Disney and 1UP Studios. Disney announced the national rollout on October 22.
Students work through team challenges alongside Captain Marvel, Iron Man and Thor. The activity covers astronomy, maths and science, with four games spread across four chapters.
Teachers need a mouse or keyboard to run the activity. The resource also asks participants to complete a short survey before and after playing.
Teachers can open Astro Assemble through Royal Museums Greenwich. Disney’s official announcement has more about the rollout.
