Applications for the winter ESPN and Disney Jr. youth sports grant window open October 27 and remain available through November 27.
The program helps eligible families cover youth sports registration fees for children ages 3 to 7. A child must have active SNAP, Medicaid or WIC benefits when the family applies.
The sport must be recreational rather than an elite or travel program, and the season must last at least four weeks. Community leagues, parks and recreation programs and school teams can qualify. One-day tournaments and short clinics are excluded.
Families can create an Every Kid Sports account before the application window opens.
