Julien Kauffmann said his time as CEO of Miral Experiences comes to an end this week, closing nearly six years at the head of the Abu Dhabi attractions operator.
Kauffmann joined the top job in February 2021. His farewell cited the openings of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi and teamLab Phenomena, along with work at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, CLYMB Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Zoo.
Two major projects remain ahead for the company. Kauffmann pointed to the planned Harry Potter lands at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi and Disney’s new Abu Dhabi resort. The broader Miral group will develop and build the Disney project, while Walt Disney Imagineering will lead its creative design and provide operational oversight.
