Disney is exploring robots that could assist with parking operations and handle 3D glasses for cleaning between shows, two projects disclosed at the company’s 2026 Accelerator Demo Day.

Disney said FieldAI is working with Disney Experiences Technology and Walt Disney Imagineering R&D on robots designed to operate across changing terrain and unpredictable weather. The teams are studying how those robots could support parking operations.

Imagineering is also working with Physical Intelligence on adaptable robotic systems for repetitive backstage tasks. One test centers on handling and arranging 3D glasses so they can be cleaned between shows.

Both projects remain exploratory. Disney did not announce a park rollout, installation site or deployment date for either system.

The Demo Day presentation also included work from Simile, which is exploring analytics and decision-support tools with Walt Disney World. That collaboration focuses on how teams gather and interpret guest-planning insights earlier in the development process.

The five-company Accelerator class was announced in July. Tuesday’s event supplied the first detailed public look at how the participants worked with Disney teams during the four-month program.
