What to expect

Jungle Cruise is a slow-moving riverboat adventure through the jungles of Asia, Africa, and South America led by Disney's famously pun-heavy skippers. Originally developed by Walt Disney for Disneyland in 1955 as a more serious wildlife expedition, the attraction gradually evolved into a comedy experience filled with absurd humor, elaborate animatronic animals, and iconic scenes like the "backside of water." The Magic Kingdom version opened with the park in 1971 and remains one of Disney's most beloved classic attractions.
