Disney Weather Check now works with the AccuWeather app for select Disney park and resort locations, giving guests and teams another way to monitor fast-changing weather during a visit.

The AccuWeather setup includes MinuteCast precipitation updates, RealFeel conditions, radar, lightning information, air-quality forecasts, location permissions, notifications, and Disney location alerts. The Disney page gives Walt Disney World as an example location guests can add inside the app.

Disney Weather Check and AccuWeather

Disney Weather Check is part of Disney SyncLink Technology, a Disney Experiences system built around location-specific weather information, on-site sensors, meteorological services, alerts, maps, and procedures for inclement weather.

AccuWeather All Access lists Disney Weather Check as a compatible venue-branded experience. The business product supports geofenced experiences, property-specific styling, and urgent weather alerts for guests and team members.

The useful part for park guests is simple: Florida storms can move quickly, and a location-aware weather tool is easier to act on than a broad city forecast. Disney has not announced a replacement for My Disney Experience weather tools, and this appears to work through AccuWeather rather than a new standalone Disney app.
