Universal Studios Japan opens Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Story Walk on Saturday, May 30, with the limited-time walk-through attraction running at Stage 18 in Osaka, Japan.

The attraction is part of Universal Cool Japan 2026 and runs through Jan. 11, 2027. It is the first attraction in the Universal Story Walk format, built around guests walking through a story with projection mapping, lighting, sound, sets, props, and participatory magic effects.

The walk-through sends guests into the Magic City of Auserst with Frieren, Fern, and Stark. The official story setup has guests entering a magical archive and revisiting memories from Frieren's journey.

The Frieren collaboration also includes a Story Ride and Restaurant of Memories. The May 30 opening gives the anime its first major in-park USJ attraction.
