The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District has stopped livestreaming its monthly Board of Supervisors meetings, ending a public video feed that had covered the local government body overseeing infrastructure around Walt Disney World.

The district's official YouTube channel has January 23 and February 27 board-meeting streams for 2026, but no March, April, or May board-meeting livestreams. Agendas and packets remain available for the later meetings.

CFTOD Says Meetings Are Still Recorded

BlogMickey reported June 11 that CFTOD spokesperson Chad Colby cited low single-digit livestream viewership and the staff time needed to operate the camera. Colby also said video recordings remain available by request.

CFTOD still directs visitors to its YouTube channel for livestreams and previous recordings. Its next regular Board of Supervisors meeting is scheduled for June 26 at 10:30 a.m.

What Is Still Public

Meeting agendas, packets, and approved minutes remain posted through the district's document library. The 2026 board-meeting list includes video links for January 23 and February 27, minutes for January through April, and agenda and packet links for May 29.

The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District replaced the former Reedy Creek Improvement District in 2023. Its board handles roads, utilities, fire services, planning, and other government functions around the Walt Disney World property.
