Hurly-Burly Project Valued at $6.2 Million

Disney's Hurly-Burly project at the BoardWalk is valued at $6.2 million, according to original reporting by Patricia Tolley for the Orlando Business Journal. The July 27 report is the original source for the project value.

The figure covers the new music lounge planned for the former Jellyrolls space. Disney has not announced a more specific opening date beyond late 2026.

Hurly-Burly, Basin on the BoardWalk, and a new quick-service restaurant are coming to Disney's BoardWalk at Walt Disney World starting in late 2026.

The additions continue the resort promenade's recent turnover around Crescent Lake, where Disney's BoardWalk sits within walking distance of EPCOT and a boat ride from Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Hurly-Burly will open as a seaside-theater lounge along the waterfront. During the afternoon, the venue will host family-friendly games such as trivia.

At night, Hurly-Burly will shift to a 21-and-over live music venue with coastal-inspired cocktails and light bites. Disney's concept art shows a small stage, table seating, and a theater-style interior with the Hurly-Burly name on the wall.

Basin on the BoardWalk

Basin on the BoardWalk will sell natural soaps, bath salts, bath bombs, body butters, lip salves, shampoo bars, conditioner bars, and other bath products.

The shop will also include a custom bath tea blending counter, a make-your-own-soap station, and a soap embossing press. Basin already operates at Disney Springs and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, so the BoardWalk location gives the brand another Walt Disney World resort-area storefront.

New BoardWalk Restaurant Still Coming

A new quick-service restaurant is also planned for Disney's BoardWalk, with the next announcement expected later this summer. Disney has not announced the restaurant name, menu, or exact opening date.

Disney's BoardWalk includes dining, shopping, nightlife, resort access, and evening entertainment along the quarter-mile promenade between EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
