Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind reopened at Disney California Adventure after a long Pixar Pier refurbishment.
Disneyland Resort lists the ride with operating hours today, and CrowdLevels recorded the attraction operating with a 5-minute posted wait at 3:47 p.m. PDT on June 22.
The return comes after the ride missed its first visible June 18 reopening window and stayed off the operating lineup longer than expected.
Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind Returns
The Pixar Pier ride has been one of Disney California Adventure's longer-running 2026 closures. It is an any-height family spinner with eight Memory Mover vehicles themed to Riley's emotions from Pixar's Inside Out.
Pixar Pier now has the spinner back for Disneyland Resort's 70th anniversary summer. Toy Story Midway Mania, Incredicoaster, Jessie's Critter Carousel, and Pixar Pal-A-Round have carried most of the pier's ride demand while Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind was closed.
Current Operating Status
Disney California Adventure is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. today, June 22. The attraction can still move in and out of operation during the day, so guests should check the Disneyland app before walking to Pixar Pier.
