Eyewitnesses in a r/Disneyland thread reported that a young guest exited a log on Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Disneyland Park near the attraction's final drop Sunday evening.
One Reddit user who said they were riding at the time described seeing the child on the hill as their log passed the drop area, then the ride stopped for about 10 minutes before continuing so riders could unload. Another nearby guest said their grandson saw a child tumble down the water slide around 6 p.m. while people gathered near the bridge.
The publicly available accounts do not establish the child's age, injuries, or why the guest left the log. Disneyland had not issued a public incident statement by Monday evening.
Tiana Closed Late Sunday
CrowdLevels tracked Tiana's Bayou Adventure as non-operating from about 6:35 p.m. Sunday, June 21, until just after midnight Monday in Disneyland local time. The ride was operating again Monday evening, with CrowdLevels recording a 45-minute posted wait at 5:30 p.m. PDT.
That matches guest reports that the queue closed after the incident and that the attraction remained down after fireworks. The data shows the downtime window, but it does not establish the cause.
The Final Drop
Tiana's Bayou Adventure is a Bayou Country log flume with a 40-inch height requirement and a 50-foot final drop. The ride sends logs through a water course with twists, turns, and a finale that can soak guests.
