Big Boi Lumpia Co. is coming soon to Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort with a cart built around savory and sweet lumpia.

Chef Barb Batiste's Los Angeles restaurant announced the Downtown Disney cart June 22. Big Boi said the cart will serve classic savory and sweet flavors with signature dipping sauces.

The opening date, exact cart location, full menu, and prices are still pending.

Big Boi Lumpia at Downtown Disney

Big Boi serves Filipino comfort food from Batiste, whose Los Angeles menu includes pork and plant-based lumpia, adobo, Filipino spaghetti, pancit, rice plates, pan de sal, and flavored butters.

For Downtown Disney, Big Boi is starting with lumpia. The restaurant named classic savory rolls, sweet rolls, and dipping sauces in the announcement.

The current Big Boi restaurant is at 2027 Sawtelle Blvd. in Los Angeles. The Downtown Disney cart is the next publicly named location.

Downtown Disney Food Additions

The Big Boi cart gives Downtown Disney another Los Angeles food brand after Happy Ice opened its permanent cart earlier this month.

Happy Ice had already appeared at Downtown Disney as a temporary truck before moving into a dedicated cart. Big Boi's announcement points to a smaller cart format from the start, with updates still to come from the restaurant.
