Star-Spangled Nights presented by M&M'S returns July 3 and 4 at Six Flags Great America, with an Independence Day drone show planned above the Gurnee, Illinois park.

Hundreds of lights will create patriotic scenes over the park. The two-night event follows a day of rides, food, and live entertainment.

The July 3 and 4 dates put the holiday event inside Six Flags Great America's 50th-anniversary summer. Guests can use the Six Flags app for showtimes, directions, and in-park details.

Wrath of Rakshasa and Raging Bull are part of the coaster lineup guests can ride before the nighttime drone show.
