A partial power outage stopped Adirondack Outlaw upright with 13 riders onboard Friday afternoon at The Great Escape in Queensbury, New York.
The outage began around 3:50 p.m. Eastern on June 26. The ride was unloaded and cleared around 5:35 p.m.
CBS6 Albany reported that the Queensbury Fire Department was onsite and that the park was working with RES, its energy provider, to restore power.
Adirondack Outlaw Power Outage
Adirondack Outlaw sends riders 16 stories into the air in open-air seats that flip as the ride moves through a vertical loop. The ride is located in Ghost Town at The Great Escape.
The Great Escape moved into the Enchanted Parks Holdings portfolio this spring after the former Six Flags-owned property changed operators.
