Puzzlehop: Hollywood Studios opens registration for an all-day puzzle event at Disney's Hollywood Studios on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

The event is built for teams of 2 to 4 players and runs from a 7:30 a.m. kickoff meetup through a 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. solving window inside the park. The entry fee is $250 plus tax per team, and each participant still needs separate Walt Disney World admission.

How Puzzlehop Works

Teams receive paper-and-pencil puzzles made for the event, then spend the day moving through Disney's Hollywood Studios, solving clues, riding attractions, watching shows, and using the park itself as part of the game.

Most puzzles are designed to take 5 to 20 minutes, with a built-in hint system available during the day. The event is family friendly, with kids 12 and older able to play and younger children allowed to tag along. Kids 10 and under do not count toward the 2-to-4 player team limit.

The event stays inside Disney's Hollywood Studios. Teams will not need to enter hotels or other parks, and the playable area excludes the Muppets courtyard, which is expected to be unavailable during Monsters, Inc. construction.

Registration and Park Access

Registration requires a form and a Zelle payment. Each team member must also sign a waiver and bring it to event check-in.

Puzzlehop is not affiliated with Disney. Teams enter as regular park guests, follow normal park rules, and do not receive special access or included admission through the event fee.

Peter Sarrett created the event. His puzzle work includes Microsoft Puzzle Hunts, Puzzled Pint, the New York Times, and other puzzle projects.
