Holiday World & Splashin' Safari will open CANNONBALL! in May 2027, adding a 90-foot MACK Rides water roller coaster to the Boulder Canyon area of the Santa Claus, Indiana park.
The new ride is planned with a 45 mph top speed, 1,700 feet of track, and a 75-foot drop. Holiday World says that top speed makes CANNONBALL! the fastest water roller coaster in the nation.
Guests will ride in seven eight-passenger floats, each with lap bars. Riders must be at least 42 inches tall with a companion or 48 inches tall to ride alone.

Boulder Canyon Project
CANNONBALL! follows the Project Flip Flop tease Holiday World used for what it called its largest single-attraction investment. The July 1 reveal tied the ride to Boulder Canyon, the same area behind the park's annual cannonball competition.
The official renderings show a blue track layout wrapped through a wooded section, a splash pool below the first big drop, and a station area decorated with red, white, and blue bunting.
