Big Boi Lumpia Co. is open in Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort with a new cart serving Filipino comfort food.
The cart is serving sweet and savory lumpia, dipping sauces, refreshing juices, and more. Chef Barb Batiste's Los Angeles restaurant first announced the Downtown Disney cart in June.
What the cart serves
Big Boi's Los Angeles menu is built around lumpia, fried chicken, adobo, Filipino spaghetti, pancit, rice plates, pan de sal, and ube butter. The Downtown Disney cart starts with a tighter menu centered on lumpia, sauces, and drinks.
The cart gives Downtown Disney a quick-service Filipino food option outside the ticketed Disneyland Resort parks, useful for guests moving between the hotels, parking areas, shopping district, and park entrances.
Downtown Disney dining additions
The Big Boi opening follows a busy dining stretch for Downtown Disney. Earl of Sandwich opened its new restaurant in late June, and Happy Ice opened a permanent cart earlier in the month.
This is also a follow-up to CrowdLevels' June 24 coverage of Big Boi Lumpia's Downtown Disney announcement.
