Fiesta Village Family Fun Park will close to the public after July 11 in Colton, California, ending a run that began in 1974.

The park's final public weekend is set for Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11. Fiesta Village is closed Sunday, July 12, for a private event, with a few more private events scheduled after the public closing weekend.

Fiesta Village Final Weekend Hours

Fiesta Village's final Friday hours are 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pacific time on July 10. The final public day runs from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pacific time on July 11.

The closing-weekend lineup includes Dairy Queen, mini golf, arcade, Lazer Tag, go-karts, batting cages, carnival rides, and roller skating. Hours and attraction availability can still change for weather, maintenance, or business levels.

Colton Park Opened in 1974

Fiesta Village sits at 1405 E. Washington St. in Colton, near San Bernardino. The park grew around mini golf, go-karts, waterslides, batting cages, arcade games, and family rides before later adding laser tag and a roller skating rink.

SFGATE reported that Michelle and Patrick O'Brien bought the park in 2002, tried to find a buyer, and cited higher operating costs and slower attendance as reasons for the closure. Nickelodeon Pizza, the independent restaurant on the property, is expected to stay open.

The official closing note is signed by Michelle and Patrick O'Brien, David Crandell, Maria Young, Karissa Mayorga, Matt Mayorga, Lynne Bay, Donna McNeil, Gabby Jacome, and Marcela Garcia.
