Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground has expanded the Meadow Swimmin' Pool area and refreshed the Reception Outpost lobby at Walt Disney World Resort.

The new pool area adds a zero-entry pool and more deck space beside the existing pool, roughly doubling the amount of pool space at the resort. The 67-foot corkscrew waterslide remains part of the Meadow Swimmin' Pool complex.

Meadow Swimmin' Pool Expansion

The added pool space gives Fort Wilderness more room for families who use the campground as a full resort day, especially during long summer afternoons away from the theme parks.

Disney also added an old-fashioned barrel carriage with Mickey in camping gear and a River Country tribute near the pool area. The detail fits the campground setting without turning the pool into a new character overlay.

Reception Outpost Refresh

The Reception Outpost update includes fireplace artwork with Mickey and friends along the water, plus three scenes of Huey, Dewey, and Louie trying archery, fishing, and camping.

Fort Wilderness still has its familiar resort activity lineup: horseback riding, canoes, Wilderness Back Trail Adventure, archery, golf carts, biking and walking paths, Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, and transportation by watercraft and bus.
