A temporary wall fell onto visitors on the walkway between Universal Orlando Resort's parking garages and CityWalk during a June rainstorm, according to guest video and local reporting published Thursday.
The first video from TikTok user @desticce69i shows heavy rain around the raised walkway before sections of the wall fall toward the group. A second original video shows people pinned between the wall and a metal fence as another visitor helps lift the panels.
Visitor reports bruising after wall falls
The second video ends with a close view of a large bruise. Text added by the visitor claims Universal employees refused to help after the wall fell. CrowdLevels could not independently verify that claim.
News 6 reported that the woman who supplied the video said it was recorded during a heavy rainstorm last month. The station did not report any hospitalization or emergency response.
A Universal spokesperson told News 6, “We do not comment on pending claims.” Universal has not publicly detailed the wall's construction, the extent of any injuries or changes made on the walkway after the incident.
