In the exchange, Reynolds asked whether the movie needed additional photography. The question drew laughs as the masked actor stood at an audience microphone.

The appearance was a comedy bit, not a casting announcement. Marvel Studios has not announced Deadpool for Avengers: Doomsday.
Reynolds said earlier in July that another Deadpool movie would eventually happen, though no project has been dated. Avengers: Doomsday opens December 18, 2026.
