Sunday produced the lowest overall standby average across the four Walt Disney World theme parks, but one day does not lead everywhere. Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios were lowest on Sunday. EPCOT was lowest on Thursday. Animal Kingdom was lowest on Wednesday.
The differences were large enough to change a park order. Animal Kingdom averaged 21.8 minutes on Wednesday and 28.6 on Monday. Hollywood Studios averaged 35.0 minutes on Sunday and 39.7 on Friday.
Disney World days of the week
The lowest-wait day for each Disney World park
| Theme park | Lowest day | Highest day |
|---|---|---|
| Magic Kingdom | Sunday, 21.9 min. | Tuesday, 24.9 min. |
| EPCOT | Thursday, 29.7 min. | Monday, 33.6 min. |
| Hollywood Studios | Sunday, 35.0 min. | Friday, 39.7 min. |
| Animal Kingdom | Wednesday, 21.8 min. | Monday, 28.6 min. |
The spread was smallest at Magic Kingdom and largest at Animal Kingdom. Park hours, seasonal events, ride closures, and school calendars can change a specific week, so use these day patterns as a starting order rather than a fixed forecast.
Sunday and Wednesday led across all four parks
The combined average uses 579,338 operating standby observations from April 27 through July 25, 2026. Friday had the highest resortwide average in this sample.
| Rank | Day | Average wait |

How CrowdLevels calculated the day averages
The sample covers the 90 completed park-local dates from April 27 through July 25, 2026. It uses 52 tracked attraction series that had posted standby values and matching CrowdLevels attraction pages. Each day-of-week average is weighted by the number of valid operating wait observations, so every recorded operating wait contributes equally.
Closed and down observations do not count as zero-minute waits. Main Street Vehicles was excluded because its recorded zero-minute series does not represent a conventional standby queue. The calculation does not adjust for ticket price, weather, special events, park hours, attraction closures, or the mix of guests who chose each park.
Use the day ranking with the live Crowd Calculator, the park calendar, and the Lightning Lane Multi Pass guide. A strong weekday choice helps, but ride priority and arrival time still decide the longest lines.
