Johari Treasures at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is scheduled to close for refurbishment from Monday, August 17, through Friday, August 28.
Regular 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. hours return on Saturday, August 29. The same hours are posted for August 16, the final day before the closure.
What the Closure Means at Kidani Village
Johari Treasures sits off the Kidani Village lobby. The shop carries authentic African crafts and clothing alongside Disney merchandise, with refrigerated drinks and packaged food visible from both entrances.
Disney has not announced the work planned during the 12-day closure or a temporary shopping location inside Kidani Village. Guests who need resort merchandise during the closure can visit Zawadi Marketplace in the Jambo House lobby.
Each affected date is marked Refurbishment for the full day. Hours can change, so guests staying at Kidani Village in late August should check the Walt Disney World app again during their trip.
