Insomniac Games released Marvel's Spider-Man 2 update 1.005.000 on July 28 with two new suits for Peter Parker: Fresh Start and Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls.
The update also adds Enhanced PSSR support for the game on PlayStation 5 Pro and a Power Saver mode.

What the two suits reference
Fresh Start uses Peter Parker's look from the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day film. In Marvel Comics, Brand New Day also names the 2008 publishing period that followed the reality-altering One More Day storyline. The game update identifies this suit as movie-inspired, so its name does not establish that the film will adapt the comic storyline.
The second suit uses the animated visual style of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, the upcoming Marvel fighting game from Arc System Works. It does not add a new character or story mission to Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
