Walt Disney Imagineering's D23 display gives the clearest look yet at Piston Peak National Park, the Cars-themed Frontierland expansion under construction at Magic Kingdom.
Two off-road rally vehicle maquettes sit beside a model track with a raised obstacle. The display says the vehicles will follow a single rail while their bodies move over the uneven route.

Miss Fritter anchors Piston Peak's second attraction
WDW News Today documented the model and its labels during the August 13 media preview. The smaller family attraction centers on Miss Fritter, the demolition-derby school bus from Cars 3. Its model places vehicles on rotating platforms.
Disney had previously described the second Piston Peak attraction only as a family experience intended for younger guests. The D23 model supplies the character and ride-layout details.
The rally route runs through a detailed national park setting
The larger model includes the visitor lodge, Ranger HQ, trails, bridges and a broad mountain backdrop. Near Haunted Mansion, the model labels one practical addition: a restroom building rather than a new attraction or lounge.
Piston Peak draws from Rocky Mountain, Yosemite and Yellowstone scenery. Disney has not announced an opening date.
