Marvel's Spidey and His Amazing Friends will return for a seventh season on Disney Jr. and Disney+ in 2028. Disney announced the renewal during the “Celebrate 65 Years of Marvel's Spider-Man!” panel at D23.
Season 6 is due in 2027. The renewal makes the preschool show the longest-running Spider-Man television series.
The Halloween Team-Up Premieres September 24
Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up! premieres September 24 at 7 a.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Jr. and Disney Jr. on Demand. It begins streaming September 25 on Disney+.
Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy voices Jack O'Lantern, while Este Haim plays Hallows Eve. Stump also wrote two songs for the special, including “Hallows' Eve Theme.”
Peter, Miles and Gwen Form Team Spidey
The animated series turns three Spider heroes into a preschool team: Peter Parker is Spidey, Miles Morales is Spin and Gwen Stacy is Ghost-Spider. Each character has a much longer comics history, but this show uses younger versions in its own continuity rather than adapting one specific comic storyline.
