Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will open July 1, 2027, at Walt Disney World Resort. Disney released the first detailed look at the resort’s guest rooms on August 27, along with three reservation windows in October.
The new waterfront resort is planned with 967 rooms, including duo studios, deluxe studios, villas, resort studios, suites and one- and two-bedroom Lake Houses. Natural wood, earthy colors, balconies and artwork tied to Disney Animation films appear throughout the renderings.
Waterfront Lake Houses Sleep Five or Eight
The one- and two-bedroom Lake Houses will stand as freestanding A-frame accommodations along Bay Lake. They will include floor-to-ceiling windows, a private porch, a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. The smaller Lake House will sleep up to five guests, while the larger one will sleep up to eight.
Artwork inside the Lake Houses will draw from Brother Bear and the film’s Alaskan setting. A Northern Lights-inspired lighting feature will appear in the primary bedroom.

Studios and Villas Draw on Disney Animation
Duo studios will be designed for two guests and draw on the colorful spirit of Encanto. Deluxe studios will use warm materials, original concept artwork and a woodland palette inspired by Bambi; those rooms will sleep up to four guests.
One-bedroom villas will sleep up to five guests, and two-bedroom villas will sleep up to nine. Both will include full kitchens, washers and dryers, private patios and living and dining areas. Three-bedroom grand villas will reference Fantasia and sleep up to 12 guests.

Resort Studios and Suites Add Fireworks Views
Beyond the Disney Vacation Club villas, the resort will offer resort studios for up to four guests and resort studio king rooms for up to two. Those rooms will feature earthy colors and artwork inspired by Pocahontas.
Select club-level rooms will include access to The Artist’s Nest concierge lounge above the treetops. The Hidden Willow Presidential Suite will sleep up to six guests in two bedrooms, with two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, Bay Lake views and access to the lounge.
