Disneyland Paris distributed more than 700 school kits to children from charitable associations in the days before the 2026 school year, the resort reported Sept. 1.
The annual handout closed a summer during which Disneyland Paris said it welcomed more than 8,000 young people from multiple charitable associations to its parks.
Cast Members Donated the School Supplies
Disneyland Paris said Cast Members donated the school supplies that were handed to children at the end of August. The materials were intended to help children begin the school year with supplies for the classroom.
Disney VoluntEARS, the Cast Members who volunteer their time for community work, also supported the association visits and accompanied children during their park experiences.
5,000 Children Visited Through Secours Populaire
One part of the summer program brought 5,000 children accompanied by Secours populaire français to the Disney Parks through the organization’s “Oubliés des Vacances” campaign. Disneyland Paris said the partnership dates back to the destination’s opening in 1992.
Attractions, shows and Disney character encounters shaped the park days. Disney VoluntEARS helped welcome and accompany the children and families.
Stitch Joined a Deauville Beach Day
On Aug. 19, Disneyland Paris joined Secours populaire’s day at the sea in Deauville for 5,000 young people from the Paris region. Stitch and Disney VoluntEARS took part in the day outside the resort.
The school-kit distribution extended that community work into the start of the school year, with the supplies donated by Disneyland Paris Cast Members.
