A new official launch trailer for Marvel's Wolverine puts Logan and his allies in the final countdown to the game's Sept. 15 PlayStation 5 release.
The trailer appeared in PlayStation's September 3 State of Play recap. It gives Jean Grey and the members of Team X a larger role while teasing new friends and foes around Wolverine's next fight.
Jean Grey and Team X Join Logan's Final Countdown
The trailer focuses on the interplay between Logan, Jean Grey and Team X. PlayStation describes Jean as a powerful telekinetic ally and leaves room for several new friends and enemies to enter the story.
For comic readers, Jean Grey is one of the X-Men's central telepaths and telekinetics. Team X is tied to Logan's covert military and Weapon X history in many Wolverine stories. Insomniac Games can draw on both ideas while telling its own version of the character's life.
Marvel's Wolverine Launches September 15 on PS5
PlayStation says Marvel's Wolverine launches globally on September 15, 2026, for PS5. The new trailer does not announce a different release date or another platform.
