Toy Story 5: The Great Toy Rescue is now live in Fortnite and runs through October 5 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific.
The two-week activation starts in a toy-height version of Bonnie’s room. A Fortnite rift has scattered Jessie, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Rex, Hamm and Forky across participating creator-made islands, and players have to bring all six toys home.
Each island has its own task. Players hunt for Forky’s paperclips, collect coins for Hamm, race in two-person squads to return crayons to Woody, repair a necklace for Rex, find Bullseye’s horseshoes for Jessie and gather batteries for Buzz Lightyear.
This is the first Disney and Pixar adventure to connect one Disney-branded story across multiple participating creator-made Fortnite islands.

The activation opened one day before Toy Story 5 began streaming on Disney+ on September 23. The Fortnite event is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Epic Games.
