A new backstage building at Magic Kingdom is being described as a parade-support facility in an exclusive report from BlogMickey. Disney has not confirmed the building’s purpose.
Disney’s 2025 look at Starlight rehearsals showed performers and maintenance choreographers working in a mirrored rehearsal room.
Two anonymous sources independently provided overlapping descriptions of the project, according to BlogMickey. One described rehearsal space, break space and offices. The other described a parade center with rehearsal space and offices.
The building is rising behind Pirates of the Caribbean beside one of the park’s parade warehouses. Public district records cited by BlogMickey identify it only as the “MK Park 3 Support Building,” leaving its intended use undisclosed.
The outlet also reports that parade costuming could move into the existing rehearsal building next door. That detail, along with the proposed break space and office use, remains unconfirmed. Disney did not respond to BlogMickey’s request for comment, according to the report.
Magic Kingdom’s current nighttime parade, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, opened in July 2025. Disney’s own look at preparations showed performers, choreographers, costumers and technical teams using rehearsal and backstage work areas before the debut.
