Recently cast concrete is visible in an October 18 aerial view of the Cars Ridge Run Rally construction site at Magic Kingdom.

The concrete appears near the top center of the image in an underground portion of the attraction. The future high point of Piston Peak will rise near the center of the same view.

The image confirms that concrete was present by October 18. It does not establish the exact day it was poured.

Cars Ridge Run Rally at Piston Peak

Cars Ridge Run Rally will send riders through a national park-inspired landscape in Frontierland, including a climb up Piston Peak and a route through a geyser field. The ride vehicles will use tires and suspension that react to the terrain.

Disney has not announced an opening date for Piston Peak.
