Shanghai Disney Resort's 10th anniversary celebration runs through 2026 with new entertainment, anniversary food, merchandise, collectible tickets, and resort-wide extras built around the "With You, It's Magic+" theme.
The practical center is Shanghai Disneyland. The castle show, parade additions, nighttime spectacular, Zootopia entertainment, and biggest ride decisions all happen inside the park.
Entertainment
The Heart of Magic is the main new daytime show. The production uses Enchanted Storybook Castle, three satellite stages, and connecting bridges while Mickey and friends move through a story built around restoring the Heart of Magic.
The character mix reaches across Cinderella, Winnie the Pooh, Tangled, Mulan, Hercules, Frozen, Toy Story, Coco, and Turning Red. Hercules makes his Shanghai Disneyland debut, and Miguel gets his first major park role there.
Mickey's Storybook Express gets two major additions for the milestone year. FriendSHIP! The Duffy and Friends' Special Pre-Parade sends all seven friends ahead of the main parade on a golden ship float. The Zootopia float brings Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, DJ Officer Clawhauser, Gazelle's concert-bus energy, Gary De'Snake, Brian Winddancer, and the Big family into the route.
Illuminate! A Nighttime Celebration also has a new finale. Mickey appears in a magician outfit, while fountains, lasers, fireworks, projections, and a Wish sequence turn Gardens of Imagination into the nighttime anchor.
CrowdLevels Ride Links
The anniversary offerings can pull guests toward the castle hub and parade route, so ride planning still matters. CrowdLevels has Shanghai Disneyland ride pages for Zootopia: Hot Pursuit, TRON Lightcycle Power Run - Presented by Chevrolet, Pirates of the Caribbean Battle for the Sunken Treasure, Soaring Over the Horizon, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
Check those pages for current operating context before you build a day around a parade spot or nighttime show.
Food and Merchandise
The anniversary food lineup runs across the year. Noodle dishes are part of the celebration because they are tied to birthday tradition in China, and the broader menu brings back several guest-favorite snacks from Shanghai Disney Resort's first decade.
The merchandise program is the largest dedicated collection in the resort's history. The lineup includes plush, apparel, accessories, collectibles, anniversary popcorn buckets, cups, straw clips, and a Magic Wand that lets guests collect interactive effects around the park.
The collection is sold at Shanghai Disneyland, with the Wishing Star icon, Mickey and Friends costumes, and shimmering fabrics as the visual thread.
Tickets, Hotels, and Digital Extras
Shanghai Disney Resort has anniversary ticket and package products tied to the milestone year, including a one-day ticket with a souvenir magnet running from March 20 through September 30, 2026. A family package is also available.
Collectible park tickets feature 30 Disney characters. Each ticket includes a puzzle piece that can become part of a larger set, plus a Shanghai Disneyland landmark section designed for photo play around the resort.
The hotels and Disneytown are part of the celebration too. Disneytown gets seasonal twists, markets, crafts, and walking tours. Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel add birthday touches and a hidden "10" discovery tour.
My Magic Star is the digital layer. Guests can create a personalized star, draw daily cards, unlock in-park activities, and use themed templates and effects during the celebration.
Planning Notes
Start with show timing. The Heart of Magic, Mickey's Storybook Express, FriendSHIP!, and Illuminate! can shape the middle and end of the day, especially if your group wants a castle or parade-viewing spot.
Put Zootopia: Hot Pursuit and TRON into the plan before the anniversary entertainment. Both are major headliners, and either one can become harder to fit once the group starts chasing snacks, Magic Wand effects, and nighttime viewing.
If the trip is built around the anniversary, choose one food stop, one merchandise goal, and one entertainment anchor. Shanghai Disneyland has enough regular park demand that a full checklist can turn sloppy fast.
