Europa-Park will hold Euro-Mir's final rides and a farewell event on Jan. 9, 2027. The spinning coaster will then be dismantled after 30 seasons at the park in Rust, Germany.

The park has not announced the farewell-event schedule yet. A schedule will be released later.

Euro-Mir Closes After 30 Seasons

Euro-Mir opened on June 12, 1997. Its rotating gondolas move through the ride both forward and backward while circling a cluster of mirrored towers.

The attraction's space theme reaches beyond the coaster. A training module from Russia's Mir space station arrived at Europa-Park in 1995 after being used to train cosmonauts. It remains on display near Euro-Mir's entrance.

A New Family Coaster Opens in 2028

Euro-Mir will make way for a standalone space-themed area built around a new Mack Rides family coaster. Europa-Park plans to open the project in 2028.

The European Space Agency is working with the park on the new area. Europa-Park has not released the coaster's name, layout or opening date.
